Can I add more rules to a monitor? For example can I add a trigger value for weekdays and another value for the weekend?
Warningo! does monitor weekdays and weekend values separately already, based on historycal values, you can use it if you choose percent deviation. In case of absolute values it is not available currently.
Can I choose the language of the alert?
Yes. Currently it can be English or Hungarian. The language of the alert depends on the language setting of your Warningo! profil.
Can I define not to receive alerts during the night?
Currently it is not possible, but we are working on it.
Can I use other data sources for the alerts than Google Analytics?
Currently it is only possible with Google Analytics, but we are working on extending it with other marketing tools.
Does the system take into consideration bank holidays?
Currently it only differentiates between weekdays and weekend. Saturday and Sunday counts as weekend.
I would like to amend the metric value when the system should trigger an alert. What should I do?
If you have selected Basic package the values are prefixed for the given metrics, it is not possible to amend them. In case of Advanced or All You Can Eat packages when you log into https://app.warningo.com you can edit your monitors and rules. You have to select there the specific monitor where you can click on the Edit icon. Here, under Monitor settings you can change the metrics filter fields.
I would like to change a monitored metric to a new one. What should I do?
We wouldn’t suggest changing an existing and running monitor, because the system handles collected data perpetual. It means that alerts based on previous data and monthly reports will be inaccurate. In case you don’t need a previous monitor you can pause or delete it. Deleted settings, monitors cannot be restored.
What kind of alerts can I use during the trial?
You can try all the functionalities that are included in the Advanced plan. This includes customizable Google Analytics daily and real-time reports, and Page Speed Score tracking as well.
What will the monthly report include if I change a metric in a monitor during the month?
We suggest avoiding changes of running measurements, because the system handles the collected data perpetual. That means that alerts based on historical data and monthy reports can be inaccurate. In case you don’t need to monitor a specific metric anymore, that monitor can be paused or deleted. But keep in mind that we cannot restore deleted settings, monitors.
Where can I check the values that were measured by Warningo! ?
Currently it is not possible but we plan to develop this capability in case customers would find it useful. Monthly report contains the lowest, the highest and the average values and also the alerts sent.

Can I download the data that was downloaded from Google Analytics?
No, direct access to raw Google Analytics data is not available in Warningo. You can always check the history data of your monitors in your Warningo account, and it can be used to determine alert rules and sensitivity. Warningo also uses this data to create monthly reports for you.
Does Warningo store my Google Analytics data? Does anyone have access to it?
Warningo stores collected values to be able to determine deviation compared to previous periods. Storing daily measurements enables the analysis of a longer period of time without being affected by Google Analytics sampling. Real-time measurements cannot be queried retroactively thus storing these values is also necessary for our monitoring service.
Data, which we have downloaded and stored, can be viewed in your Warningo account by your team’s members.
We do not use this data for any other purpose, or share it with any third parties.
How many Google Analytics views can I link to Warningo?
One Warningo subscription can be used to monitor data in one Google Analytics view. You can have multiple Warningo subscriptions, and you can select different plans for these website to match the traffic and complexity of your web analytics.
How many users can I add with one subscription?
Every subscription can be managed by one user, alerts can be edited, but alert emails can have multiple recipients who do not have to have a Warningo subscription.
I don’t have e-commerce tracking in Google Analyitcs. Can I select any other metrics in Free package?
Monitors and their settings in Free plan cannot be modified. Advanced or All You Can Eat plans make it possible to track further metrics with desired rules.
I have multiple websites which have separate Google Analytics properties. How should I proceed?
Each Warningo subscription can be connected to 1 Google Analytics view. You are welcome to add several websites to your Warningo user account. Subscription fee must be paid for all active websites separately, but all your websites can have different subscription plans.
I would like to use a new Google Analytics View in my Warningo! account. What can I do?
You can link 1 Google Analytics View to a plan. If you would like to switch your currently linked Google Analytics View to a new one, please contact us at info@warningo.com. In case you need to monitor more Google Analytics Views you can extend your current plan with further Views for additional charges.
If I invite someone to Warningo, does he automatically have edit rights?
Yes. In case you invite someone into Warningo! that user can edit monitors and rules within your account, but he cannot edit the plan or billing information. If you only add an email address to an alert as a recipient, that doesn’t mean he will have access to your Wartningo! account. He only receives email alerts.
In Basic plan by transaction do you mean the number of purchases or the revenue?
We monitor number of purchases, exactly the same metric as in your Google Analytics UI.
Is there a change or log history?
No, we don’t store logs on changes made on measurements or account data.
My access to Google Analytics have been removed. Can Warningo still send me alerts?
No. Warningo needs continuous access to the monitored view in Google Analytics. Please reconnect Google Analytics to Warningo, so that data can be retrieved and evaluated. Page Speed Score monitors are independent from Google Analytics, and we keep checking these type of monitors for you.
What are the different user rights? Can I give different user rights to my colleagues?
There are 2 types of user rights, Owner and Edit. Owners can manage the licence and billing details. A User with Edit rights can only manage monitors and rules.

I didn’t receive an invoice. What is the problem?
Please contact our customer service at info@warningo.com. We will need your email address used for subscription, the name of the website involved, and the date of the credit card or PayPal debit for which the invoice was not received.
I have a new credit card. Where can I edit the card details?
The owner of the website or the Warningo account holder can change the payment method or payment details by logging in to the Warningo interface. The new card will be used for payment at the next due payment.
In what currency is the licence fee charged?
Warningo charges in monthly fee in EUR.
Is the subscription automatically renewed?
Yes, if the renewal fee is successfully charged for the next period.
The name of my company has changed. Can I edit my billing data?
Yes. The owner of the website can change the billing information by logging in to the Warningo interface. You will see the new name in your next invoice.
What happens if no alert was generated in a month? Do I still have to pay?
Monthly fee is independent from the number of alerts sent to you. Monthly fee covers a continuous service to monitor your data in Google Analytics or other services, and triggering alerts if specific data has reached a given threshold. You can think of it as an insurance for your home. The data of your monitors are queried and processed daily, or in case of a real-time monitor in every 15 minutes. If Warningo finds a value outside acceptable ranges, it sends an alert. In addition, you will receive a summary report for each month that shows you what values were measured and how many times the system has alerted you.

Email alerts
I cannot open the link in the email. What could be the problem?
The link in the alert email is placed there automatically, from the settings of your monitor. You can check whether you provided the proper link by logging into https://app.warningo.com and navigating to the specific monitor’s settings, searching for the Details link field. It is also worth to check whether the Google Analytics link can be accessed by any of the alert email recipients.
I only received a warning email, but recovered email has not arrived. What could be the problem?
This is not necessarily a problem of Warningo! system. It means that the condition that triggered the alert is still exist.
I’m using Warningo for a while, but I haven’t received any alerts. How can I check whether my settings are correct?
Please login to your Warningo account, where you can review the status of all your monitors. Here are a few things, that you can check:
- Have you connected Warningo to your Google Analytics account? Have you selected the proper Google Analytics view, that contains the data, which is most relevant for monitoring? This is usually a main or master view within a property, where you collect data from your website. You can check and adjust your settings here.
- Are the relevant monitors in active status in your list of monitors? Tip: you can use the filters above the list to focus on certain types of monitors.
- If monitors are running, you can always view their settings, where data collected by Warningo can also be reviewed.
- Have you set up any rules? Monitors ensure that data is collected when needed, but rules can be used to define what thresholds you consider acceptable, and what you consider an anomaly. Tip: when creating or editing a rule, you can compare your settings to historical data, and see the likeliness of alerts, you would get for certain settings.
